Hair Stylists Level System

The primary goal of our level system at Ella’s Salon is to provide a career path of growth and achievement for our team members and to offer several options for our guest to meet their diverse needs when it comes to salon services. Guests may choose the stylist level that compliments their requests from skill sets, education and budget. Please see our Menu for pricing on hair services based on the level of stylist.

Designer Stylist – These stylists have earned and gained a level of experience and confidence behind the chair. They effectively manage consultations as well as developing color formulas. They have gained knowledge on how to achieve more advanced cuts and styles.

Lead Stylist – A lead stylist has acquired a great amount of experience with all aspects of hair and communication. They are well educated in the beauty industry and most are currently educators in our salon. They are experienced in performing more advanced color techniques, color corrections, cuts and styles. Lead Stylists have obtained advanced product knowledge and have an extensive clientele.

Master Stylist – A master stylist has the largest demand for their time behind the chair. They have an advanced level of education and are great communicators. At this point in their career, they are booked for several months in advance. They are exceptional professionals who inspire and educate their team and clients.
